AVID Tutor

Lake Washington School District (various schools)
Begins October 2017, trainings in May & September

Lake Washington school district is looking for AVID tutors to spend one or two class periods a week working with groups of students starting in October 2017. This flyer has a list of specific dates, times, and locations of information sessions.
This is an incredible opportunity to serve our HOME on Sundays!

2017 Evergreen Health 7 Hills of Kirkland

Memorial Day, Monday, May 29th
Locations: Marina Park, Kirkland; EvergreenHealth DeYoung Parking Lot, Kirkland; LDS Church, Kirkland; Holy Cross Church, Redmond; Vincent Center, Carnation; Holy Innocents Church, Duvall; The Church at Maltby, Snohomish; Grass Lawn Park, Redmond.

The EvergreenHealth 7 Hills of Kirkland is an annual Memorial Day fundraiser for Attain Housing and their work with families facing homelessness on the East Side. The ride is in its 19th year, and draws between 1000 and 1500 participants to ride a century, metric, or 40 mile road ride beginning and ending at Marina Park in Kirkland.Volunteer help is needed early in the morning, from 5am to 9am, for set up and rider registration at Marina Park, and throughout the day with shifts from 9am-1pm, and from 1pm to 5pm for the ride finish.Volunteers at support stops are needed to help with set up, and to distribute food and water to riders along the ride route.

Medical Teams International Field of Dreams Event

Thursday, June 15th & Saturday, June 17th (with other dates available)
Safeco Field!

Medical Teams’ annual dinner and auction fundraiser takes place at Safeco Field on Saturday, June 17th. There are opportunities to volunteer before, during and after the event. Job descriptions and details are found on SignUpGenius. Join other volunteers to help raise funds used to support programs around the world that save lives. Vision House

Vision House grounds and facilities. (Shoreline & Renton)
June and July, varying dates.

Vision House is an organization that provides services to homeless families to move from homelessness to permanent housing. They are seeking volunteers to come to their transitional housing grounds and facilities in the summer months and do maintenance and clean-up. It’s a great opportunity for groups to serve together! Bread of Life

Location: Pioneer Square, Seattle

Bread of Life is a mission in Seattle that helps people overcome the cycle of homelessenss. There are many opportunities at Bread of Life from serving a meal to helping at a chapel service. This would be a good chance for you as an individual to serve your city or you could also bring your friends, group, or family along! Find out more here.

Eastside Parent Life

Parent Life reaches expectant and parenting teens and their children through intentional relationships with trained adults and community partnerships. They are often seeking child care or mentors for their participants, so if you are interested in investing in some beautiful mommas in your area, shoot us an e-mail at and we can connect you!

Vision House
Vision House is looking for volunteers to help in many different areas. There are financial literacy classes that need mentor spots filled and child-care positions filled in the coming months.
